I don't know if its just me but bears will try and hug me if they run away and then run into me

Protip: if a boar charges at you and you cant use running speed to get away, try standing still.
When you're moving and something attacks you your defense is null and you get hurt no matter what.

no; that's why this is only helpfull if you have armor/sheild and high melee
