Author Topic: Demo_man's STATUE OF LIBERTY  (Read 11934 times)

Finally, my first real game build.  You heard me, my first.  So obviously, it took me a while to build this...about over a month of playing an hour a day.  While building, I regretted choosing such a big build as my first.  :cookieMonster:  Well enough chat, lets get to the pics.

So here is the whole thing.  As you can see, its huge.  Originally I built it on Slate, but moved it into the kitchen to show the size of it.

Here is a closer look at the base which I designed by looking at a wikipedia image.

Here is a closer look at the statue itself.  I did this with trial and error.  At first i decided to use a statue which looked like a blockland avatar, but I decided that wouldn't be as cool.

A more detailed look at the face.  It doesn't look the way i wanted it to come out, but I lost steam by the end of the model.

The torch.  I used fire in the torch at first, but I didn't like the way it came out so i built it in bricks.  Ps.  DOF pictures really look cool!

Yep, that's it.  I still have much to improve with my building skills and remember this is my FIRST build.  Feel free to rate x/10.

=D your back! and you got retail

Yes, and it's about time too!

It looks amazing. =3
I have to say that the nose is a bit weird but the rest is amazing.
10/10, especially for a first retail build.

It looks very good, but the amazing detail in the statute is not really complimented by the somewhat bland base. Good job, this is an amazing build overall.

I love you. You should try and app for a clan with that

I like recreations of famous landmarks.  Very nice work.

Another great build from you. I can't wait to see what you will build in the future.

I made a stuffty one with bots.

This appears to be stolen. It has been posted before I know that.

Maybe, though I think that they just look similar but isn't stolen.

Edit: It is actually very probable that it's stolen now that I have done a closer inspection.

It was stolen. He just recolored it.
If you look at that topic

He could of either stole or copied the set. :( I am disappoint, I was thinking that this guy was an amazing builder.
