Author Topic: The Passing for L4D2 is out! R.I.P Bill :(  (Read 41531 times)

You meet 3 survivors from l4d1.

One of them had to give their life, theres going to be some dlc for l4d1, for that one chapter that leads into the passing.
No its 4 survivors, I swear we better be able to use the l4d1 characters in add-on campaigns.

Is that Zoey on the balcony?

Facepunch has come to the conclusion that it is indeed Zoey.

Also the road poster reminds me of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.

It reminds me of The Wizard Of Oz

No, one of them died. It's only 3.

Bill of old age, and I will go to Valve myself and kill them all. Francis can't die because he's indestructible, Louis.. pill overdose possibility and Zoey of Smoker Rape.

No thanks, I'll pass.

Quote from: Thepassing Wiki

The Passing will take place between Dead Center and Dark Carnival, in the suburban town of Rayford, Georgia. One of the main features of this campaign is a meet-up between the Left 4 Dead 2 Survivors and three of the Survivors from Left 4 Dead. (Note that the original Survivors will not  be playable.) The original Survivors will appear in the campaign's first chapter, where they will meet up with the new Survivors. They will then appear once again near the end, to help Coach, Nick, Rochelle, and Ellis  escape. The campaign will be playable in all of the current game modes, as well as the newly featured ones. It will be free for PC, and 560MSP on the Xbox 360[2]. The DLC is called The Passing, due to the passing on, or death, of one of the original four Survivors, who gave up their own life to save the others. To explain how this happened, Valve will be releasing DLCs for the first game, in which the players play through a new campaign, leading up to the event, ending with one player giving up their life to let the other three Survivors escape. A digital comic book will also come out to show what happens to the original survivors as they go to Georgia and who actually dies.

I have l4d, im never buying l4d2, because valve broke their promise with it.

Dumb stuff, it's fine. Don't tell me you were one of those boycotters.

what, no they didnt idiot
they are releasing this for l4d1 too

i have a feeling l4d3 will use the midnight riders as the main characters

unless, of course, it was just the original l4d cast in their van

BILL BETTER NOT BE DEAD
Francis is still alive cause Chet (in an interview with Rooster Teeth's Achievement Hunters) said that Francis will have some special interactions with Nick and Zoey is alive as well (besides that screenshot as being proof), cause Chet also mentioned that Ellis may get a crush on Zoey, so it's either Bill or Louis as Chet never talked about those two, i think it might be Bill

Valve promised to keep releasing DLC for L4d1 other than making a whole new game.

They said They would add all melee weapons and new survivors to l4d1.
