Both sides are trying to convince the other of the truth.
I love how both sides are too stubborn to realize the other side is too stubborn to be convinced of anything.
This is why I don't muck around with religion; it's an arguement that will never end.
So true... The only people that these discussions really affect are those that are unsure. If you're debating religion, chances are you are firm in your beliefs and thus won't budge on your opinions.
No, we're trying to stop you from infected other people with your loaded bullstuff.
Infect? Again, people are free to believe what they will. If they want to believe in a higher power, what difference does it make to you?
My thoughts of religion is that everyone is free to believe what they want to believe. I'm don't badger people to convert and blah blah blah. i just let the person be who they want to be. Everyone has their own opinions, and I'm not one to judge.
Well put.
It's fun to still talk about it; the exchange of ideas and beliefs is an important thing. However, one should not try to covert the other. Instead of brown townyzing and finding flaws in other peoples beliefs, we should try to, instead, develop our own.
Aptly stated. Discussing religion is fine as long as it isn't taken too seriously. If you come in with the intent of converting everyone who doesn't believe exactly what you believe, you're going to be very frustrated.
