Author Topic: Accused for hacking at school.  (Read 70489 times)

I recently got caught for attempting to access a blocked website via IP Address with a batch file.

For some reason my schools computer system has game maker on it so I opened it.

Got banned for the rest of the year for having something that looked "hacky" on the computer.

My school has the network locked up pretty tight, so we are really unable to do much but use proxies. I subscribed to an email list that sends me new proxies (all by the same guy) every few days. Our IT guy doesn't block the proxies very fast, so we get a few months use out of one before it's blocked. And when it is blocked, we have quite a few to choose from. Also, I don't think the IT guy realized that all the proxies look the same and are made from the same guy. And that their is a link to subscribe to his email at the top of the page. If he would do that, he could easily get all the newest proxies and straight up ban them. But he doesn't, so whatever.
