might use these for a thing soon now that i own a server
anything i should know (terribly debilitating glitches recommended terrain etc etc)
I don't recommend using the released version of BugMod1 for now, since it is
very outdated, and requires Rot's old zombie mod to function.
BugMod2 should work fine, though I have yet to convert it the new bot system.
Current known issues:
-The Firefly Flash does not work 100% of the time
-The sit/fighting stance pose of the Earwig will glitch in some cases
-The sit/fighting stance pose of the Mantis will stop playing in some cases
-Occasionally walking animations will play when bugs are flying near to the groundSome info regarding terrain/builds:
The largest bug currently in Mod2 is 6 studs wide, though I suggest making most of your major doorways/hallways 8 studs or wider.
The Mantis (tallest of Mod2 bugs) is exactly 8 bricks tall when standing, and 3 bricks + 1 plate tall while crouching.
All other bugs are three bricks tall or shorter.
The Mantis, Cicada, Earwig preform the best is tighter twisty areas.
Dragonflies generally need more room to maneuver, and they can fight in larger areas because they are so quick.
Firefly seem good in most situations. Their smaller size makes them hard to sniper in large areas, and their blinding ability is very good in tight areas.
BugMod2 includes the following weapons/items:
-Cicada Bash (good knockback and damage)
-Dragonfly Pounce (doubles as a boost ability)
-Earwig Bite (good attack rate, but lower damage)
-Earwig Pinch (slower attack rate, but higher damage. This will eventually be replaced for a grabbing ability)
-Firefly bash (good knockback but low damage)
-Firefly Flash (blinds nearby enemies if they are looking at you (as stated above, this doesn't work 100% atm)
-Mantis Slash (will kill a normal player in two hits)
