Here's links to my Top 3 Soundtrack from Super Mario Galaxy 2.

1. Puzzle Plank Galaxy
2. Flip-Swap Galaxy
3. Yoshi Star Galaxy
Woah woah woah, no Melty Monster Galaxy?  That's outrageous.  That's the best song in the whole game!

Also, I own it.  It's nice, I think some things were more thrown together as opposed to the first.  But it's still a great game.  I have 117 stars, just need accouple more before I can go for the green stars.

Do you have to use yoshi for almost everything? I saw the commercial and i thought it was going to be like that.

Haven't gotten there yet.

EDIT: Listened to it on YouTube. It sounds good, but it's not coming on Top 3.

Nope, not everything, but quite a lot.

Not really a lot, you use Mario much more.

The forget?  It's better than all of those.  Was actually the best as stated by the generalized fan group.

It's my opinion, okay? Since when is it illegal to have an opinion?

How many stars do you have, Flubbman?

I don't like Super Mario Galaxy 2 as much as the original for these reasons:

You can't swim fast by spinning any more. There's a huge delay between spins.

There is only one kind of Comet, which has different effects, rather than several different kinds with one effect unique to it.

Most galaxies are much shorter than the galaxies in Super Mario Galaxy.

There are way too many recycled bosses and ideas. So far, I've fought three bosses that are literally taken right out of its predecessor, along with the bird-riding (ray-surfing) and ball-rolling, plus the galaxies' themes themselves.

The music is nowhere near as epic as the first, and sometimes gets annoying. (Yoshi Egg repeats way too much.) The Boss Level music hardly sounds like an intimidating battle is just a few jumps and spins away.

The Faceship is too small for my taste. I loved "venturing" out to the Observatory, going throughout the different rooms.

Rock Mario is slightly hard to control and his jump is pointless on every galaxy I've played it on; you will go flying off the edge of the galaxy.

You could move far too quickly under water in the original game, making it more cheap and less of a challenge.  Almost making the shell pointless, aside from killing things underwater.

The comet system doesn't hinder the levels themselves; you're nitpicking.

The galaxy lengths are relatively the same, you're just being paranoid.  Hell, they're even more difficult.  The game's difficulty was based around the implement of "players who have played and beaten the first game."

The boss battles are half recycled ideas, yes.  The original boss battles weren't that amazing to begin with, though.  Also, the levels are different to the extent of where they wouldn't completely ruin the original style of the game.  I felt as if the job they did was perfect for the style, more specifically a sequel.

The music is just as good, and COMPLETELY different.  They even improved on some things (bowser's basic level them was revamped to sound more like the '64 version).  Even more so, the music had a larger budget.

The Faceship is boring, yes.  This is something we can both agree on.

Rock mario should be hard to control.  Without having hard controls, there would be no challenge, due to how ridiculously fast and powerful the thing is.

I still disagree, the shell was also made much worse in this game.

I would like to know whether this will be a speedrun of my least favorite level, or simply a bunch of duplicated platforms.

Average levels to completion of galaxy in first game: 5-6 levels
Average levels to completion of galaxy in first game: 3-4 levels

I especially see the "forest with bees" and "fire / ice" galaxy theme being overused, and most boss battles from the original were just that... original.

I think it's nowhere near as good, and yes it is different. I LOVED that Wood - level music, and the sand galaxy one, but otherwise, they were repetitive and easy to forget. (When I said Boss Battle, I meant more specifically the Bowser Jr. Bosses.)

Very good point. But the jumping is still useless.

The shell has the exact same physics.

The Prankster comet, in the original would, emit speedruns, faster moving platforms, etc.  The name "prankster" is derived from being both random, and levels that are so ridiculous that they're nearly pointless.

I think you meant the second game on your second line.  Either way, this means more galaxies.  There's still the same amount of stars.  Actually, once you get 120 stars, you go for 120 green stars; they aren't just redoing the levels with luigi, either, they're replaced in different locations.

That's your opinion.  Most people enjoy the newer music.

I must have been fooled. I honestly thought it went a bit slower, and moving on the surface of the water is glitchy and near-impossible.

The original had the various "Speedy Comet" or "cosmic comet" or "purple coin comet"

(whoops...)I'm glad I don't have to completely redo everything, that's a major improvement, but some galaxies don't even have a comet level. I found a non-Luma galaxy that had literally 2 stars only, 1 normal and 1 "secret" right at the beginning of the level. Took 3 minutes to complete the entire thing.

All right then, I just find most tracks too "ambient" and "in the background," sometimes I barely even realize there's music there.

More galaxies = more adventure.  Also, some of the galaxies in the first one didn't have comets either.
