Bump. Played the demo. My official ruling is meh.
It's a very tactically oriented game (active tactics, not passive tactics like I get the feeling in BF2) but it has the odd distinction of trying to be very tactical and very FPS-y at the same time. It's a very "realistic" I suppose FPS in the way that it's not just run-and-gun and I feel like at the right difficulty it could wind up where the decisions you make tactically could have an effect on whether the missions succeeds or not. With tactical FPS games I almost feel like if you're good enough at FPS games you don't need to worry about the tactics as much for your success, but I dunno. At $4 it almost feels like too much of a steal not take advantage of, even if it's just a game you play for stuffs when you're REALLY bored. I'll sleep on it.
