Author Topic: Dropship....with gravity gun?  (Read 7562 times)

Is it possible to make a dropship that uses the Gravity Guns "projectile" to pick up vehicles and hold them? If so, could someone make one?

Hmm... I think it may be possible, though I don't think the pilot would be able to control it. You'd need a co-pilot manning the gravity gun.

I just had the most amazing idea...

Well, the pilot could, he just drives over a vehicle and fires the gravitygun to pick it up, obviously, the projectiles would be aimed down.

Isn't this from Warhawk or something.

I don't think his aim would be all that good, given that he can't see below the ship unless he's in 3rd person. Oh, and what would the range on this thing be?

Maybe. But this would be useful in all manner of vehicle TDMs.

Far enough so that the vehicles dont collide and go crazy.

So can it be done? :D I dont care if there has to be a co pilot to do it.

drop ship with gravity gun...

It could be possible using the gravity gun projectile aimed down and carrying a vehicle, but how could you release the vehicle by the drop ship?

mabye with a script which you choose a button and press that exact button to release/pickup the vehicle.

might be possibile.

it's my educated guess

If it is Warhawk, add six passenger seats.

Reminds me of the Halo Pelican that can carry around a vehicle.

Exactly

Someone build it please. Add some seats too.

You don't "Build" vehicles. You model and script them. And it's not so simple as just asking for it to be done. I'd say less than 3% of suggestions get made. And often those have to be fought for.
