Yeah I built up 25k today from grinding them. They sell in like, less than 2 seconds.

So what would happen if they removed them? Nothing. They are pointless now because there isn't pking in the wildy anymore, so nobody can kill trade there.

They're there to make the wilderness challenging after they removed PK, the wildy was always built up as a dangerous place because people killed other people in it.

Also, they tie in with the god-wars story.
