The whole runescape market is crashing because when free trade came out all the botters got hacked and since they all had alot of money when hacked alot of money got taken out of the system so now the prices on everything are droping making it so that people will buy more things to raise prices back up but since prices on everything dropped its harder to make money

so in theory bot where holding runescape together.

you're not dumb. I saw a video about this and it said that bots hold together the economy because they bring together about 4/5 of the resources in Runescape that you can buy on the Grand Exchange.

I don't know if 4/5 is an accurate number, but yeah they sure held together part of the economy.
That's why you could buy your standard "manual labor" resources like logs and ore for cheap.

What this shows:
- Prices from Dec 12 to Mar 12 (90 days)
- Red line is free trade implementation

In order:
- Logs
- Oak Logs
- Willow Logs
- Maple Logs
- Yew Logs

Note it takes a day for the Grand Exchange to recalculate prices.
