why do you need to have 99 fletching?
-sniptext-
prayer
Why not? It's a 99. I barely use my cooking level (99) even Daemonheim since I can't catch the fish and fire makes the difference to cooking change (99 firemaking helps).

As for prayer, then that's not a good 99. 95 prayer is useful, 99 is just a waste of money.

i would love this if the game wasn't boring, uninspired, greedy, and repetitive. i'd give up all the new graphics and the new shiny weapons for the creativity that we saw back in 2007. i wish that the gowers were still in charge of their game.

In 2007 it was even more repetitive than it is now, not to mention much slower.

That's from personal experience, not guesswork.

Anyway:
Uninspired: You really think that? Go do some quests. The only reason 2007 seems so great is because it's relative to what came before and because, well, games have come on a hell of a lot in the last 5 years.
Greedy: Yeah well, Jagex need more money to pay off their greedy investors who are probably the ones ruining the game (55% shares ftl)
Repetive: See first bit
Boring: I don't think so, but that's just opinion,

i've been playing for a long time and i can assure you, the stuff they're doing now in respects to quests and over all content is just plain pathetic compared to what they did before 2009. have you played underground pass? legends quest? that stuff was fun, it was an honest attempt to make the game fun. while they didn't have the graphical capability and probably couldn't even do some of the scripting that they do now, those quests were fun to do, you actually felt accomplished after completing them. after completing one of the newer quests i feel like i've finished doing a chore, just an arbitrary task so i can get the super duper staff of antioch or some bullstuff talisman i need to enter the grove of dragon armor. every update i see now is just mediocre bullstuff. graphical updates, stuffty spin wheel gambling, more aesthetic members reward crap, a new quest here and there. i literally can't play this game without feeling bored anymore. i've done quests, but i'm at the point where i'm stuck either doing little bitch quests that i didn't do because they're useless and over all handicapped, or can't do a quest because it requires bat stuff crazy skills. i mean, forget, i can't finish the void knight series because they decided "hey, you know that mid level series we made? let's top it all off with a loving grand master quest, FOR NO loving REASON!" this coupled with the fact that they introduced a buy tickets option to the spin wheel and their constant pushing for membership, even in members worlds, has lead me to hate runescape as a game, as well as jagex as a company.
