I don't understand how being wrong is an opinion.

My opinion is that Polearm > Flail.

My opinion is that Polearm > Flail.

but you would be wrong because technically the boss guy should just predict your actions and stab you in the face. they build up all this stuff about how vampyres can't be killed with normal weapons because they can predict your attacks, as well as the fact that they can't be killed by things like verac's flail because they are only weak to silver. out of nowhere they go "NOW THERS DIS WEPWN AND IT DOEZ MORAE DMAGE N STUFF SO HER U GO KIL TEH BOS WITH TET STIK!," completely ruining the lore they built up. All this could have been avoided if they just made a blisterwood flail or some stuff, but they were lazy and made a loving pole.

Like I said, opinion. Opinions can't be wrong, or right.

Anyway, let's quit this whole weapon thing :)

my opinion could be that people who are gay aren't gay
its wrong because people who are gay are gay

That's not an opinion, that's a proven untruth.

it can't be your opinion that I'm wrong. You told me that I was incorrect.
Being right and wrong is a matter of facts. Facts are facts, and not a matter of opinion.
Having a weapon evolve in a series of quests and then abandon it for no reason just to get another weapon that contradict previous facts doesn't make any sense at all.

Fact: people understand coherent stories much better than incoherent ones.
ergo I'm right and you're wrong.

your "opinion" states that a weapon is better than an other because it has more numbers. this is incorrect, as you actually think that the numbers are better than the other numbers, not the weapon itself. if the model were a flail of some sort, there would be no reason why it wouldn't be a better weapon.

I didn't say in general flails are worse than polearms, I said that IN MY OPINION the Blisterwood Polearm is better than the Ivandis Flail. Why do you keep trying to tell me otherwise when I've already stated my reasons for thinking this as well as stating that it's also an opinion; you do not have to agree with it. There is no point continuing to tell me I'm wrong. I might be wrong, but I don't think I am.

you stated you liked the polearm because it hits harder, therefore you don't like the polearm, you like its stats. the actual weapon could be a giant pencil and it wouldn't make any difference.

It's better in many ways. It hits harder, it looks better in my opinion (flail has too many...flailing...bits), and it does work lore wise.
There are three reasons.
In fact the three reasons there are more or less everything that could possibly classify a RuneScape weapon as good or bad, other than training. Oh yes, it does all the melee combat styles too.

except it doesn't work lorewise because it isn't a random weapon, in fact, it's a very predictable weapon because it's a pole. just writing in some bullstuff that we've never heard of before doesn't count as lore, that counts as being lazy and adding bullstuff.

I'll be hunting polar kebbits at taverly/burthrope
