Okay, recently, someone hacked into my OSRS account and changed my bank. I'm sure how they got into my account (since my password was a bunch of numbers), but I'm glad they did. My Old School account had around only 50k worth of stuff on it, and I guess they decided, "He must not play much, I'll use his account to transfer some items." The "hacker" dumped a lot of his stuff in my bank, and must have logged out. After around 2 months of inactivity, I log on to OSRS, and hoollyyyy shiitt..
(click to enlarge) Imagine how I felt when I logged on to see my dirt poor bank transformed into this.
Notable Loot:
9+ mil (was 12mil, but I gave 3mil away)
Amulet of Fury (3mil)
Normal, Red, and Stripy Feathers (1.8mil)
2,120 Yew Shortbows (7.1mil)
7,532 Yew Longbows (5.1mil)
6,886 Yew Longbows (u) (3.4mil)
I had more, (abyssal whips, dragon weaponry, etc. but I gave those away too since my combat skills are pretty damn low)
The only things they took (as far as I noticed), was about 3/4 of my partyhats, but I really don't give two hoots about those since they're only worth maybe 40k each. A lot of the holiday items in that screenshot I already had before. After this, I changed my password and the guy has probably killed himself. Lesson of today: don't bank stuff on stolen accounts.
TL;DR: Some guy was a dumbstuff, or very generous.
I don't believe anybody is stupid enough to do that. However, what I believe happened was that someone hacked your account,
sold it to some chinese website, whom then
resold it to some poor boy that thought he was buying an account. I'd think this is the most likely explanation, as it accounts for the various skilling items on the account. It also explains your account being locked.
