Wow. This has told me a lot I didn't know.
I really thought a shotgun had that range D:
Look at the media range. Do you possibly think that bullets coming out of a barrel that is an inch wide can spread that much? No. That would screw the barrel of the gun over.

Bump because yuki has a cake next to yuki's age

I have a revolver just like the one in the picture.

OGM IT'S CALLED A MAGNUM!!!!1

OP is just an elaborate troll.

I may be late or something idk.

The AK-47 in Call of Duty 4 looked a lot more like the ones you see in real life. Every assault rifle in MW2 looks like they were futurized. With randoms clips on the side, and oversized stocks.

Yes, I have seen a real AK-47. I know someone who owns a whole stuffload of guns.

Fun fact: A single Barret .50 round costs about $60 right now.

Speaking of the M93 Raffica...

An M93R from Modern Warfare 2.

An M93R from Bad Company 2.

Not very surprising...

M93 is an M9 with a big, annoying piece of metal attacked to it. :P

You can't forget it's burst fire capabilities.

Probably a switch or something.

Games make everything look cooler, but yet stupider than they are.
Example:

A real .50 cal round could blow off an arm.
One in MW2 can't even kill a person, or take down a heli within 3 hits. :/

I have a question about shotgun range in games and real life. Yes I know this was covered in the OP, but when I play Bad Company 2, shotgun pellets can go pretty far with some spread in between them. Is this true in real life?

Of course. However, they just don't fly 6 feet and then are harmless. Even if the spread was horrible, the little pellets are still flying at 2,000 fps. Even if you got hit by 1. It'd hurt like a bitch.

Awesome, I'm playing a somewhat realistic FPS :D

Yeah, you're just trying to look cool. .50 rounds only cost like five dollars each.
