And again Ill post my idea of a netbook as youve yet to respond lol
Get her a netbook, theyre cheap and all shell need is internet and a webcam if she wants to chat with you.

Tom

I've had Hl2 Crash on my Mac.

mac users always went on the net going "we have both types! macs run aything and everything so fast!"
no.... they run windows or they run macos. not both at same time. and the other unused processor shuts itself down being unused.
that is "duo" processing.
I know you know a lot about computer Bisjac, but I have no idea where your coming from with this "It disabled on processor when using windows" idea. Looks like both are being used at the same time to me.

I think walking into an official apple store and looking around makes my facts pretty good. As said earlier, there currently is no standard 3 button + wheel mouse. Keybinds make certain commands more difficult. For example, jetting in Blockland. Instead of easily using one finger on my PC mouse, I have to adjust my hand awkwardly to hit the closest available key for jet. Same with a few Half-Life 2 weapon features. Right-clicking is much easier to do then binding a key and having to move your hand around more. Or adjusting your hand to make a fancy hand movement on one of their special mouses, which just doesn't meet the need for good gaming

Also, Apple was bribed/bullied into never using AMD chips, unlike PCs, which openly allows any chip brand.

Oh, I guess the magic mouse is too advanced for you to understand. The whole surface is multitouch, thus allowing you to set up a right click region.

It's not as responsive as a normal 3 button+wheel. Setting up a region to press gets annoying, because feedback on whether it worked can get annoying. I've tried it; my friend has a brand new mac himself

those are 2 cores.... of a SINGLE processor!
that is NOT running 2 processors! much less running 2 different brand and models of processors!
god damn mac people are truly stupid arent they.

forget, and 2-cores is old school stuffty anyways.

"duo" is a cigarettegy mac term. it means this machine has both a PC processor and a mac processor. but we can only use one at a time!

right there you were looking at the pc one, and its "dual" cores...

this is all basic stuff, why is it mac people are so slow on this.

I used the magic mouse set up a region and it works. Occasionally. Usually it's like "fuq u" and just acts as a left click with makes me waste valuable time.

I think it is official: You can not mention the word "Mac" in a thread without an all-out war exploding. The only reason PC users really obsess over PC is because it has more games. Honestly, you guys can deny it, but you only like it for the games. The other technical stuff just happens to be icing on your cake.

Yes, that is a major factor. But I also like PC's for their openness to foreign software/hardware. It's much easier to partition a PC then a Mac

of course its for the games. if not for games then we would just use any computer.
and there is nothing wrong with that. we want the most for our money, we arent stupid.

"Duo" is the brand name of the Intel chip.
I'm not that stupid. I know what two cores are. I just have no idea where you got this whole "Mac's have 2 separate processors" conspiracy. Ever since the Intel switch, Mac have used the x86 architecture. just like PCs have. They don't need a separate processor.

Why isn't XP on the list?

Because XP is outdated and replaced with 7.

Personally I'd love to use 7 on my laptop if it didn't suck so badly.

But XP is the best!
