Marijuana has been found to be virtually harmless to humans if smoked in a non-obsessive manner (everything in moderation) and some studies find that it's actually beneficial to your health. That, and it has intense economic value. Police wouldn't have to waste time and resources hunting marijuana and arresting users of it, and people could start selling it legitimately and making money. Offer "seller permits" and suddenly the government is getting in on the money too. Really, it's all 100% beneficial.

A lot of the unwarranted hate for Marijuana comes from propaganda bullstuff they teach in elementary schools saying "WEED IS BAD YOU WILL DIE" etc etc. I don't smoke it, but that doesn't mean I can't defend it.

I suppose.  I'm not really pro marijuana, but I'm not against it either, I really don't care that much.  I also can't say I care too much about if abortions were legal or not.

I agree with you entirely.

My only beef with pot, now at least, is that kids treat it like it's some forbidden fruit that only the cool kids have. Other than that, I really don't care.

That's already illegal. Be more worried about local and state governments. It's still unconstitutional, but there are more hurdles to go through if they do it and you want them to stop.
