i'm pretty sure it's fake but i got a pic from my friend of a recon helmet with no visor or black part with a skull with glowing orange eyes and blue flaming

The gungnir helm is not fake. It can be bought eventually at a very high rank.

Also, the skull helmet is not the recon. It is the pilot helmet (not the eva, looks similar, but its the pilot.)



Supposedly the Haunted Helmet can be bought for 1cr after every purchasable base helmet is bought by the player. However there isn't much to confirm this, and some people thinks it is a gift on Halloween, or that it is Reach's version of Halo 3's Recon. (The 'get noticed by Bungie' helmet)

The blue flames are indeed Bungie Only.
