Heres a mod that I quickly made:
www.dropshock.bduhq.com/FatmanF3.esp
It reverts the damage back to the original damage in Fallout 3. I havn't tested it at all yet so tell me if you have any problems.

Alright just tested the mod on the poor villagers of Goodsprings.
It kills EVERYTHING.
Be VERY sure to aim this forgeter FAR AWAY from you, I shot it at Doc Mitchel and it instantly crippled both of my legs and my right arm.
It is now the most overpowered weapon in the game, like it should be.

Glorious. I'll download it when I have time.
Also are there any mods that add new energy weapons to the game? Not reskins of existing ones, or new stats with the same models, but totally new weapons,

Well, if you find a reskin, and find new stats, you can combine them to be a new weapon...

Maybe it's because I'm listening to music and not paying much attention, but that doesn't make sense to me. I don't want a reskin. I want an expanded Energy Weapon arsenal because I find the regular one to be a bit lacking.

its broken

No, its not fool. I bet you didn't even try it.
It only doesn't work if archive invalidation is the first .bsa to load on the list. If you set up your .bsa load order just like the one I showed you then it will work fine. I've been using it before and after the most recent patch and it works great.

EDIT: Just saw that the dumbass took down the link
Here is the link to the one for fallout 3 (it works exactly the same and is 100 % compatable since they are the same file) Make sure to download the manual one though!
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944

NINJA EDIT: Someone also uploaded the file to NV nexus as well,
http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37004
Its exactly the same as the other link but now you have two links in case one of them doesn't work for some stupid reason.

if i were to get fallout NV on steam, could i download this mod? or would i get banned?

You can have mods for the steam version. The game has built-in addon support, just drop it in your Data folder and enable it in the main menu.

I'd also like to add that the steam version is the ONLY version of NV. Even if you buy the retail disk it'll be activated and played through steam.

didnt know that :o

didnt know that :o
Actually happens with a few games now.  I think the two newest CoD games did it, maybe Just Cause 2.

Actually I got a retail disc off a friend and it doesn't run through Steam.

So maybe it doesn't use Steam for international versions. Wouldn't surprise me, 'new' technology takes years to filter down to this hemisphere.

holy stuff this is on page 3 what the forget oh my loving goddddd

I haven't played Vegas for a week or so. Is there a way to change controller sensitivity on Xbox? It's way too slow for me.
