We walk for hours on end, not stopping at the slightest noise or threat. We have to get to Australlia, we have to. Peter climbs up on top of a pile of rubble and raises his hand above his eyes to stop the piercing morning sunlight obstructing his vision.
"There is a small forrest up ahead, we should get through it before sunset. They are less active at in daytime so we should play our cards right, Tim." He says.
"OK, But where will we go from then? We have no idea where we are going." I reply.
"I don't know..." He sighs, "Our only hope is to reach the coast and we don't even know where we are."
He jumps down and we continue walking through the city. In the corner of my eye I see a zombie, following us.
"There is one behind us, It is after us." I whisper to Peter.
"Not just one, Tim. Hundreds."
I turn my head around...He is right, there are zombies on the rooftops, roads and inside buildings all walking after us.
"Why aren't they attacking us?" I ask.
"They are waiting till it gets dark, It is when they thrive," He replies, "We have to get through the forest"
We arrive at the forest.
"Let's go!"
We run into the forest as fast as we can, we have to lose the zombies before we get out of the other side. The zombies start to speed up as the sun begins to set.
"Hurry, the the sun is going down!" I exclaim.
"I know, we have to keep running!"
We run past a small hut, as we run past I look at the windows, zombies are leaning against them trying to get out at us. I pick up my pace, but I trip over a root.
"Tim, get up!"
I clamber to my feet, blocking out the pain I begin to sprint. The sky is really getting dark, I can here the screams of the zombies...
They are getting closer...
