What server has 6 cores that is under $100?

I just realized I found the same exact thing cheaper, the server I was planning on getting was overpowered and I am able to use less.

I can start with a charge of $8/month.

i would pay $1 a month, assuming all clan members would do so as well.
but since the blockland community cant rely on a dozen people consecutively subscribing to their own clan together. its impossible.

i would pay 20 a month for myself.

So, are you just going to assume people are smart enough not to all try to host on the default port?

I'll manually change this, if people do change it it's just a minor inconvenience to people who need to connect by IP.

On another note, I'll have to figure out something about keys because people need to enter their key into the server. I don't know if Badspot wants to release how it's encrypted into key.dat, but it's most likely harmless if he tells us how it's done.

Lol, just found a 12 core server for only $500/month.

yeah, ONLY five-hundred per month.

I'd actually do this, but I'd rather keep it on my PC than somebody I don't know's.
 :cookieMonster:.

this is how real games are hosted. blockland would be great if half the servers were hosted like this.
just costs money

For Badspot?

Were not talking about paying Badspot, Kalph is implying a 3rd party server which would grant no pprofit to Badspot, it would grant profit to the host of the server.

Make people upload their key.dat.

Five, maybe ten.

But free is good. :D

I don't think having 30 paying users is a realistic expectation and I wouldn't be comfortable entering my key onto an unknown server.

There must be a cheaper host you can use as Blockland isn't a demanding game; something cheap enough that you can support it with just 5 to 10 paying users.

Make people upload their key.dat.

I'm not certain, but I believe the key.dat is tied into the hardware you are using somehow. This means you can't simply copy the key.dat file across to different machines.
