Got this a few years ago, had to reinstall steam and every game I downloaded from it. This may not be the only way to fix it, but it never happened again.

A few hours ago I've started to play GTA4 and in that moment the steam community didn't work. For one hour I thought that there's a problem with me again but then my friend came on in mumble and told me that he can't connect as well.
