Sounds like a good idea. Skyrim is a cold mountain nation so instead of needing just water, sleep, and food; you also need to keep warm and you can't enter snow that's too deep or you'll get buried and frozen.

Hopefully this game will be good like Morrowind and will not be like their recent crap like Oblivion and Fallout.

Morrowind is complete stuff compared to Oblivion. Especially the combat.
Also fast travel is optional. If you don't like it, don't use it.

Morrowind and oblivion were both great. I would prefer oblivion because it looks nicer but Morrowind was better gameplay wise.
