I was unsure of what I wanted to do then I joined a vocational program in my last two years of high school. That's when I found out electrical engineering was up my alley.

You are going to vocational college?

That's real old school.  Cool.

No I go to university for electrical engineering. The vocational program helped me see what I wanted to do after high school.

I don't know why, but I don't trust homeschooling as a valid education.  It seems so strange, you miss all the experiences of a social atmosphere, stress-management, being away from home, etc.

I don't know.  I would never homeschool my kids.  If I am fortunate enough to have some, that is.
I'd rather homeschool my children, or at least supplement their education with my own curriculum. I find playing a very active role in my child's education to be appealing.

Oh.  Still, good luck.

I believe it is better to have an enjoyable job than make a stuffload of money, after living with my parents.

I didn't even know the average salary of electrical engineers until I was in my third semester of university. I didn't decide on engineering because of the potential money.

That was a quick ninja.

But yeah, that's good.

I was accepted to ASU but decided to attend Embry Riddle instead. I'm studying aerospace engineering.

It sounds like you are unsure of what you want to do. If that is the case, then attending a school like ASU may be a good idea. They offer a wide range of programs and you have the option of trying them out until you find one you like. Jumping right into one of the "premium" schools like Harvard may seem like the best idea, but it's a risky and expensive way to go if you aren't sure about what you actually want to do with your life. When you finally do decide on a career path, you will stand a better chance at getting into some of those "premium" colleges by being a transfer student.

Harvard is like $40,000 a semester. You have to have money to get into Harvard.

I plan on going somewhere.

I am applying to these colleges soon:

Long Island University
Normandale (Local College)
University of Minnesota (HOLOYYLOY)
MIT

If you knew anything about me, you'd know that money isn't a problem.

I have wanted to do interior design for as long as I can remember, I remember talking to Ronin about it and him telling me that I just need a pink scarf and uggs to complete the look. The business would be an added diploma simply because I want to eventually start my own firm one day.

Hahahah, win.

Try getting a girl to go out with you when they find out you live with your parents. I know all too well. :cookieMonster:

Of course that serves as a good filter too. Any girl who really cares about that isn't worth going after.

I go to State U 15 minutes from my house. I do wish I lived on or a walk/bike ride distance from campus though since I spend most of my day there.

I wouldn't live anywhere near my parents :x

I'm a lazy forget and plan on going to ESU, its a public university so its cheap and its like 15 minutes away from my house

This entire post applies perfectly to me.
