Map is currently on hiatus until I get a really kickass idea for the last huge building.

LOOOONG overdue update after a long period of mapper's block/laziness/hiatus.

I'm trying to resurrect this new building a bit. One problem was that it wasn't getting enough natural light, so I added this string of windows.

I'm not entirely sold on the design, but it did lighten up the interior a bit as you can kind of see in this shot of the entire interior thusfar.

Here's another angle that I don't think I posted.

I'm hoping to get some feedback on how this building is going so far. I'm not entirely sold on the whole thing, I'm close to just deleting the entire thing and starting over with a new design.

You're sirrusly good at this.

Finished lighting most of the interior thusfar. I like how this lighting turned out.

These remind me of Halo, but I've only ever played part of the first one.

Gets better and loveier each time you post a picture.
I'm a cool cat.

Warning: addition to new building is "inspired" by the Boston City Hall

like Ice Ice Baby is "inspired" by Under Pressure. Unlike Ice Ice baby however, I feel like this building is actually a good thing.

Anyway, here it is. (on a side note, I'd love to do a recreation of the Boston City Hall for Source after I'm done with this map- loving love that building)

View from the stairs:

Best angle I can get without passing the cordon.

This was really fast and dirty work, I didn't want to be up too late working on this but I wanted to get this building in Hammer. As such, lighting hasn't been touched, not even interior spaces in general. Large portions of this section are also floating at the moment. I'll fix all that tomorrow.

The upper levels are actually pretty spacey, which is nice. Here's a picture of the topmost level with a citizen NPC at the other end for scale.
