Assault - Slow, big, scary, minigun. Sound Familiar?
Medic - Heal Grenades, Heal gun (Siphon's life too), Bonesaw like thing
Recon - Fast, Has a blade that can backstab for critical damage and can become invisible, Has a sniper.
Robotics - Forcefeilds, Turrets, Remote controlled flying robots, Health Dispensser

Well I have wanted Global Agenda for a long time, I am getting it tomorrow, with my new computer.
Ziyek and I are going to be playing for a while and likely wouldn't mind an Assault or Medic to do stuff with.

It ripped off Team Fortress if anything, Planetside had nothing unique about it other than it was an MMO, which Global Agenda isn't really an MMO, they say it is but it isn't.
