I spent around 30 minutes on the pencil base for this, then 6+ hours on tracing and coloring it on the computer:

some of the proportions in your drawing are kinda skewed, carol

the placement of the left leg should be over the right- that gap in between in the crotchal region is odd looking

also, the way she's placed looks as if she's leaning backwards slightly, which from an artist's standpoint is a little off.

other than that, good job.

That, and JW is that a 3/4 view, or is she looking straight at you? I mean, I think her body placement hints a sort of diagonal angle comparative to the camera, but is her (his?) head facing straight forward or at the same angle?

I'm sorry, I'm picky o.o;

I actually like having my work criticized, it helps me get better.

Thanks Sixth and Anti. I'm still trying to figure out how to do good sideviews. I was planning on a slight sideview of her walking, but I couldn't really think of a good way to connect the legs. My main problem with sideviews are the head, but I'm working on that. I'm also still working on proportions, but I don't know of any one else besides my sister that doesn't use those weird 'action lines' and basic shapes to start their picture.

Yeah, the action lines (I call them guidelines :]) are tedious, but they really help with the structures and proportions IMO. And I can understand having to work on the view and whatnot, I still have problems with it. Just remember, practice makes perfect! :D

Yeah, I'm just not huge on a lot of erasing. I'll usually get a rough outline done and then go from there with the posing, but that's about it when it comes to the pre-planning.
I'd assume it does, I've just been too lazy to look them up despite having hours of free time :c

The horns are a nice touch, but the single sunglass looks like a nose and two squnting eyes, making it look like a horned smiling bear.
