Neither, mow a lawn for the extra 10 bucks and get this

It will run better, last longer, give better performance, use less power, over do this in gaming as well than anything AMD can offer.
is a 1155 better then a 1156 socket?

Yes. 1155 just came out a few days ago. The reason why your mothers AMD setup runs better than your computer is probably because you have a Pentium D.

You don't necessarily need a six core. I recommend either the X4 965 Black Edition or X4 970 Black Edition. They have more Ghz than the six-cores, and plus most games still require 2 cores.
It's not all about GHz. The 965 and 970 are a waste, they are just re-branded 955s with a higher core clock.

Explain why :U?
Because they are new, fast and can beat anything AMD has to offer.

Go with computer 2, but get this for your graphics card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125334
It's better than the 5770, and will run much more cooler.

Both of those are quite old and from a site that I have never heard of. I didn't bother reading them.

Sandy Bridge just came out too. I don't understand you at all.
