Last time I had Ubuntu, I couldn't get Java to work on it. I couldn't play Runescape or Minecraft and it was very frustrating.

So Ubuntu is like if Windows and Linux had love?

Ubuntu is Linux.

Ubuntu is Linux.
Yes. But it can support wind-

screw it I'll get it

Come on man, you can customize it more than that! :P

Oh don't worry, I will be. I'm still a newbie to Ubuntu anyway.

If you guys can't get a CoD game to run smoothly in wine just get True Combat Elite.

It's purdy smexy.

If I try Ubuntu for the 3rd time, I'm going to want to keep
- My music
- Opera or FireFox
- Flash player to watch videos
- Java to play games like Runescape and Minecraft
- Video editor (I used to use movie maker)

Does it have better RAM management than Vista?

Richard Stallman DOES NOT APPROVE OF UBUNTU.
"what you are referring to as linux is in fact the kernel, gnu..."
"what you are referring to as a xerox machine is in fact a copy machine, xerox..."
"what you are referring to as aspirin was a brand owned by the Bayer corporation prior to world war I, the correct name is acetylsalicylic acid..."
"what you are referring to as an escalator was originally a trademark of the Otis Elevator Company, what you mean to say is a staircase-like conveyor-based pedestrian transport system..."

please kill me now

If I try Ubuntu for the 3rd time, I'm going to want to keep
- Opera or FireFox - Ubuntu comes with Firefox pre-installed.
- Flash player to watch videos - Firefox has Flash Player.
- Java to play games like Runescape and Minecraft - Java is fully compatible with Linux.
- Video editor (I used to use movie maker) - Ubuntu comes with a built-in video editor, although I don't know how good it is.

As for RAM management and music, I'm not sure.
