If you can't post in any of the other GW2 topics make this a megathread and hope it doesn't go down like the rest.

Also Guardian (at a glance) sounds overpowered, but the bonuses from the virtues are probably going to be pretty minor.

I'll probably play Warrior though.

I used to play GW nightfall.. It was confusing and took forever to level. Is there like a demo i could try and see if i can get back into it. I sorta lost my Nightfall disc :U

Lol, nightfall is the easiest to level, I think I was 20 in like 4 hours. Original GW is the only one that takes over a day.

Was never a fan of the classic GW because of the low level cap, I might look into this one though.

I thought this one is going to have no levels.

It was a pvp based game, and they wanted the builds to be limited. With a higher level cap, you could probably max every stat, and then there wouldn't be much strategy involved. GuildWars wasn't just about who was a higher level with better gear, it was about choosing the best stats and skills for the job/party. It had a tactical sense, rather than other games where the best move is highest DPS.

Double post:
Well im going to be a noob now to Guildwars nightfall.. Can anyone tell me what is the easiest calss to start with? and tell me what to do to enjoy the game?

I didn't know you could have nightfall without having proh :s

Everyone has a dedicated slot on their skill bar where they must place a healing skill.

From level 1, every profession has the ability to revive everyone else.

There are no skills that specifically target allies. Everything must be done using positioning, ground targeting or other unconventional methods.

That is why we want to eliminate things that we felt were burdens on the game such as:

    * Group LF Healer/Tank…
    * Party wipes when you lose the wrong person.
    * Watching the interface instead of the world.
    * Playing with people because you have to, not because you want to.
    * Being stuck in the same combat patterns over and over again.

Oh, the Humanity! Human Week Begins

    * Tuesday – In a blog post full of cool audio clips of the background conversations between human NPCs, writer John Ryan will show how writing and sound design bring the human story to life in Guild Wars 2. This dialogue, overheard by your character in the human areas, really expands and fleshes out the world in a way that simple quest text can’t.

    * Wednesday – Character art team lead Aaron Coberly discusses the current state of human character design in this blog post, which features some great examples of the range of armor and clothing available to human characters in Guild Wars 2.

    * Thursday – We’re updating the human page on GuildWars2.com with new background detail authored by Jeff Grubb, new wallpapers, and a brand-new video tour of the human homeland.

    * Friday – Lore and Continuity Designer Ree Soesbee explores the tension and balance of power between the three main armed factions in Kryta – the Seraph, the Ministry Guard, and the Shining Blade in this intriguing blog post.
