Author Topic: what the forget is JavaJDEUpdate.exe?  (Read 3484 times)

It's obviously a virus, but searching my hard drives and a thorough avast! scan yields no results, yet it appears in my task manager and multiplies. really quickly, too.

Google took me to a polish website with only half the words translated.

Java developers environment.

throw your computer out the window and set it on fire

I highly doubt that's necessary.

yes it is if the monitor breaks and the computer isn't on fire the virus can escape and infect all electronics in the general area.

i don't think this is a virus but google yields no results.

I'm pretty sure it's just having porblems proccessing an update.

I've never seen any virus appearing with an administrator next to it.

You has a multiple system process o nooo :c

Ahahahahaha. Java might be as annoying as a virus,  but it isn't. It's just an update app.

Just press end process on all but 1.

Seriously, are you all unable to read? I said the process multiplies itself, and ending all of the processes doesn't do jack stuff.

I know that jucshed.exe is Java's actual updater.

I found its file path, but it's hidden even though I have hidden folders turned off...deleting is doesn't do anything, it just reappears.

avast! can scan it, but it doesn't read it as a virus.
