Still, just because their intention isn't to break the law doesn't make it justified.
Remember, piracy doesn't just include video games. Because of that, I still don't see what the big deal is. I don't want to call it a petty crime, because it isn't, but is there really any major significance to stealing a digital copy of anything?

What the hell do you have to be pissed at?
Rage somewhere else, bro.
He's explaining his opinion on lawbreakers. How is that raging?

Stop telling me what MY opinion is. Just for that no L4D2 smex tonight.
You kind of made it clear you thought it was okay since you weren't aiming to break the law.

it's always wrong. it hurts the developers who make the game
Only if the person would buy it without torrents. Otherwise, they're not losing a sale.

I was referring to his argument not mine.

My first post clearly had the word, "SORTA."

That's no L4D2 for an ENTIRE week now mister. >:U

My friends have pirated a few games. I don't really complain about it, because its just a game. Its not like the producer isn't rolling in millions as 10% of the game's fans pirate it from torrent sites.

the only reason i could accept it is if someone buys in on a console, their console breaks, and they pirate it to get it back to play on the PC

There's like a page every five minutes so if I go back and check I have to read three more posts and keep up with those.

I also hate friends I know that are like "LOL I HAVE LIKE 5000 SOMGS BUT ONLY 1/2 THEM ARE BOUGHT"

I hate the idea of stealing. All those developers put work into those productions, and people just take them for free instead of paying a decent and not overwhelming price.

There is still a loss in demand for the product without profit gain, and this forgets over the market.

60 bucks is considered humble now?

Well with the whole economy stuff they have no choice but to raise prices.

Except loving Black Ops which is still a whopping 60 bucks after a few months. God dam.

Those forgeters can go broke for all I care, god dam mainstream starfishs. Except for TreyArch's map designers. They're lovey. <3

Well, maybe for console games, no.

Still, its not a legitimate reason to pirate it.

Not every producer is super rich. And that doesn't make it right anyway.

Stealing is for losers.

You have a point. I never thought of it that way.
