The only reason our government hasn't illegalized tobacco cigarettes is that they know that it would be impossible to pull off, just like what happened when they tried to illegalize alcohol.

If anything the prohibition of alcohol shows how if it became legal the violent gangs would decrease

Earlier I wanted to discuss legalisation of Marijuana with my mum and she immediately got mad because I mentioned it. lol

banning tobacco would have an enormous impact on our economy that we can't afford

Bump. I voted no if anyone cares.

Silly parents, overreacting at everything.

That's why I put, "This may be just my personal experience" first. I get your brown townogy.

Is marijuana considered a drug? I honestly don't know, I'm just asking questions here.
sugar is a drug

There is so much messed up with the governments of the world that legalizing yet another drug that is harmless compared to tobacco wouldn't hurt a bit.

They are sort of correct. Wording is a bit off, but yes, a drug is something that has usually no nutritional value and isn't taken to gain any nutrition.

Not medicinal drugs, illegal drugs. I'm excluding advil, this is a discussion on the definition of a drug, not if taking pills is fun.

Last I checked we use food for nutrition.

Not all foods are used for nutrition, I was just trying to prove the point that the definition of "drug" should be changed.

You used apples, potatoes, and "all foods" as examples. :I
