Since the couple will probably gross out, or influence the child in some way.

of course they should. i don't necessarily agree with them adopting a kid; seems weird to me, but it should be their right as long as the child consents

This.

I'm not completely against it, but imagine how the child could possibly have to deal with.  Should the kids fellow classmates find out, he could go into a world of hell.  Unless, of course, he manages to hide it, or no one really cares if someone has two dads/moms.  In some cases, the child could become confused, "Why do I have two dads, but everyone has a mom and a dad?"  If the kid thinks this way and asks his parents, it could lead to a very confusing and emotional talk.

Someone find the flaws, I'm undecided.

I knew a kid in highschool that had two gay parents and not a single person made fun of him.

They interview these gay adoptees all the time and they say that, generally, as far as peer issues go, this is just a not-problem. (I Just spent the last few minutes googlin' and all the results were biased as hell opinion threads, like these. So I can't really cite anything.)

In the second grade, I was picked on for liking Pokemon. I went to a Baptist (When I first wrote that, I wrote "Badspot" -- wtf) school that considered Pokemon a pagan attack on the west by Japan, trying to get kids to accept the Theory of Evolution as bona fide fact, as it is. When I forgot that I had put some Burger King Pokemon plushies in my lunchbox and accidentally showed everyone the toys, I was pretty much relentlessly taunted for the rest of the year for it.

Should Pokemon be banned? I mean, I was obviously a victim of Pokemon -- right?

No. That's stupid. Instead of trying to sanitize the world of everything that kids might get picked on for, why not just reprimand the kids that are going around purposefully trying to make the lives of others hell?

I said yes, if they meet high expectations. But I feel that straight couples should have to meet high expectations as well.

Ahh, I see.  I should have read the rest of the thread, you make a great point there.

I say let them adopt. It's the child's decision however to be straight or not
The bible doesn't even say that being gay's wrong, don't know where they got it.
Wow, you really need to study Fox. Actually READ it.

Don't let gay people adopt they will rape the children.

I'm happy to see that "Yes" is in the lead.

Well, why not?
Because I don't believe in God?
