Sucks for Crytek.

Btw, Are pics broken or not? If so, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOyD7SoY7LU This game is for Xbox 360, PS3, and the wii! Note, this game will overload the wii with great graphics, so this will not ever happen, And also PC. This game is the greatest graphics of all games, no joke. It was announced. Achieved with Cry-Engine 3

Your right, it was because a dumbforget employee failed to give the beta to another employee. but failed. D:<

Second pic is from Crysis 1.

Good to know that that's definitely a fact!  Right?

It's not a fact. Cryengine 2 (Crysis 1) looks much better then Cryengine 3 (Crysis 2). Cryengine 3 is optimized for consoles, which sucks.

Oh god that just went right over your head.  The idea is that "looking better" cannot be proven, thus isn't a fact.

loved the first crysis, probably my favorite FPS

will buy crysis 2 if my old pc can run it

OPTIMIZING means that it can run better with less resources or an equal amount of resources
aka IT LOOKS THE SAME OR BETTER as crysis 1
christ
have you not seen any of the screenshots of the pc version

I'm not quite sure about the PC version of Crysis 2, all I can say is it won't compare on consoles. It suffers from incredibly reduced draw distances and some reduction in texture quality, to work with the consoles extremely limited memory capacity. Shadow drawing is also cut back on consoles and all in all it's not the same experience graphically.
Imo it should have remained a PC exclusive.

Modern PC card = 1-2gb of video mem
Console - 256

do the math.

Consoles are where the money is at, it's all about putting bacon on the table, not pleasing a minority.

blaman has absolutely almost no idea what he's talking about.

I've seen Cryengine 3 and it most certainly is not designed for consoles. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions use special configs, just like added detail levels alongside low, medium, high, and very high. From what I've seen, the console versions look brilliant considering the age of the hardware.
