Flying
Oh-ho-ho, flying, now that's amazing.
I'd say that's probably one of the best things you can do in a dream, though actually it's harder than I thought it would be.
For me, the hardest part is actually taking off, which works with a varying amount of success, but when I'm actually in the air the feeling is mind-blowing and there's nothing like it.

You made a good point though Sheath, even when I know it's a dream, and I know I can't be hurt, I've never had the nerve to go too high.

I'm going to sleep now
Doubt this will work on the first night.

Yeah. I mean, say for instance right now you realize you are asleep. Suddenly you see a gun next to your computer. Shooting yourself is still not a fearless action, despite it being the dream.

Flying is a great thing to do. But its also a very basic thing. Doing stuff like that is just scratching the surface of what is possible. Personally I think dreams are one of the best gifts we have as human beings. And when you become conscious inside of them... its natures answer to virtual reality. :D

The human mind is fascinating :D

Aaaalso
This one time I was walking to my bed
I wake up instantly the next morning in my bed sitting up, so I magically teleported to my bed and don't remember going to sleep.

Can somebody explain this to me?

Also, who's ever started lucid dreaming in a nightmare?
You expect all to go bad, so it does.
You might've fell asleep next to your bed, like almost fainted? that can usually cause that, or you had a time skip kind of dealy

I'm so glad I found this topic, dreams have always been a passionate subject for me.

This topic is now about dreams you had while lucid

I had love while lucid dreaming. I now do that every night.

I <3 lucid dreaming.

I always remember most of my dreams and I'm aware in most of them but I can't control them usually. Especially this one forgeted up dream about Silent Hill.. FUUUU- However most of the ones I control are fun, especially this weird ass one where I'm the Silver Surfer and I fly across a city killing gangsters?

Oh god lol

And for some reason i'm attracted to horror and stuff. But controlling a dream to make your own "virtual video game" sort of thing would be awesome as crap.

Maybe there'd be a way in like 20-30 years to have virtual reality games attatched to you. Maybe or maybe not. Blahblah.

I'm going to try tomorrow, since i have an early test and i get to sleep all i want afterwards.

That's a good source to learn from.
As well as This.

i never dream. not even just never LUCID dream, i just never dream. at all. maybe every few weeks ill wake up and remember like 2 seconds of a dream, but other than that nothing.

SAD FRED IS SAD

Oh god lol
I hate the horror lucid dreams, I always expect the worse and it happens. :C

There was talk about entertainment companies looking into using dreaming for virtual reality. Don't expect such a thing any time soon ha ha.

That's because your mind isn't able to hone in on what you WANT in the dream and what you don't?

I just think it has something to do with that. Usually i dream about what i think about, and oh god some of those things are depressing/sick/WHAT THE HELL.

:/ Oh well, if i can control it i'll try to start a war with an army of chimpanzee robots covered in electric armor that wield welding irons and shotguns.

Its weird, I can remember almost everthing about that Silent Hill dream, it didn't start getting really forgeted up until I came to this apartment, everthing was fine and dandy until I ran into some random monster that came out of the entrance of the apartment. When it came out, the perspective closed in on the monster and it starting shaking fast like a camera close-up done wrong. It all went to hell (literally) after that, atleast I could control my motions and I had a shotgun(?) type weapon.

Yeah, and usually things you find CAN trigger you to spin into a nightmare.

For example, something that doesn't belong, something in a dream that you don't really remember putting there or having. usually if you touch something or something like that it does start off to hell. Only certain things trigger it though, it's not like "LOL CUP, OH GOD THIS IS TOTALLY HELL"
