I honestly like L4B more because of how simple it is. You can just put down a spawn and have a zombie start attacking you. Nothing complicated to it, while ZAPT has so many new script features that it gets annoying. It gets annoying when I try to make a minigame and set down Zombie spawns and when I wrench them all I get is "This zombie will spawn when the director chooses".
This is exactly what I have been trying to say when I said I wanted more freedom. I completely agree with this post.


I like ZAPT so much better than L4B idk what people have against it. Maybe they're too stupid. I like it 'cause it has more options, allows for a more controlled setting.

The director does not exist. The message that confuses you morons is changed to make this clearer for next update.

The ZombieDirector ScriptObject only performs the following functions:
  • Determines if a zombie can spawn. It doesn't do this through EVIL, COMMUNIST STALIN-ESQUE CONTROLS OVER YOUR FREEDOM AND FREEWILL AND ZOMBIE SHOOTAN' NEEDS, it does this by checking if there are any players around it, and a proximity check to see if there are players too close that, if a zombie appeared there, it would be ridiculous and unfun.
  • Detrermines how stressed the humans are (through a series of algorithms). This modifies damage somewhat so that zombies don't rape you as soon as you spawn.

That's-loving-it. The Spawns will make zombies. The spawns will make zombies in a more logical way. The spawns do not make zombies for no loving reason. This is for your benefit. Instead of thanking me you halfwits blame me for making the mod "too restrictive" because you're dumbass can't figure out that THE ZOMBIES WILL NOT SPAWN IF YOU PLANT A SPAWN AND TEST IT BY WALKING THREE FEET NEXT.

Again, Director does not exist. The tank selection is random, weighted slightly by score.

I honestly don't see how this is restricted, since it actually doesn't spawn zombies when there isn't a minigame, so idiots can't spam the server datablocks or whatnot with zombie spawns with zombies on them.

Also, I like how it checks to see if players are near the spawns. I'd rather have no zombies near me then a loving witch spawn in front of my and raping my stuff. Seriously, how do you deal with that? inb4dealwithit

Anyways, I'm glad ZAPT was made, but that's just my opinion. I hope Iban can make Version 3 possible, and with a few new features and fixes.
