Philosophy

I've been thinking for a while now, and I got a few chances to talk to graduated Professors in Philosophy. Turns out they were impressed with the things I had to say.
I want to get a chance to discuss some things with you guys and see if we have any interesting conclusions.
Who knows, we can get somewhere interesting.

Ethics

What is right or wrong.

No you can't
Death is the ending of life, not before the beginning.
Coming to thing of it, "death/dead" and "not alive" are different.

Ninja: Dis gon b gud.

Actually depends.

If when you say before birth in the mother's tummy then yes, because every dead thing that used to be living is dead.

If you mean before you were even in existence then no because you were never alive.

birth is the start, death is the end.

before birth, you're nothing at all, after death, you're SOMETHING (balls if i know what) in the afterlife.

Mark Twain had a different point of view, I'm referring to his quote "I have been dead for billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience."

What a lucid thing to say.

Seems like a very debatable question, but thats pretty much Philosophy in general.

If the answer is yes, you were dead, might there be a chance of reincarnation playing into effect here? Not the most relevant question to this question, but yeah.

Yeah but "dead" implies you were alive at some point, and last time I checked I wasn't alive 4 million years ago.

dead does not mean not existing (afterlife and such = existing)

not being born does mean not existing

i'm pretty sure i worded it correctly here

The afterlife is not applicable here.

What if I add, the essence of us was created possible when the big bang played its major part.

Its a more rational explanation than a god.

As I said: Religion
The afterlife is not applicable here.

You'll get a chance to question your god later on the next topic.
