Yes, they announced at the Blizzcon before the last that they were working on a 4th universe that will start off with a "next-gen" MMORPG.

And that's why you should play WoW instead of Rift?

No? I was simply stating that the only company that's going to make an MMORPG different then WoW will be Blizzard. Everyone is trying to make MMORPGs similar to WoW because of the huge profits that Blizzard makes off of it.

I've actually never played rift, but

First timer or are you handicapped on purpose?

Okay. But you did say that you should play WoW instead of Rift because WoW is old, right?

WoW has 6 years of post-release development, which includes: optimizations, improvements, and additions. If every other MMORPG is similar enough to WoW, why stop playing a game you've invested thousands of hours into to play the same game you are leaving?

I think the point is that if you want to play WoW you will play WoW and not a clone that doesn't even qualify as a clone.

What makes WoW, WoW?
Is it the world?
Is it the lore?
Classes, races, fractions, graphic, style?

What makes Rift, WoW?

First timer or are you handicapped on purpose?
Bisjac is just annoying me.

Bisjac is just annoying me.
Because his rant was mainly directed at your and it's main purpose was to annoy you.

People's opinions differ, they have rights and if you don't like it you know where to go.

- Not everyone has invested thousands of hours into WoW
- Some people might be looking for something different than more of the same in WoW after playing it for thousands of hours
- Playing an MMORPG just after release means that the theorycraft and min/maxing hasn't really been done yet so it's a little bit more casual environment
- Rift is better than WoW in some ways.

Well obviously there are reasons. I wouldn't call it the new WoW this early on, though. At least it didn't say the WoW killer, I suppose.

Personally, I haven't been able to play an MMORPG very long since WoW because most of them are too similar in functionality. Something different needs to come out.

You obviously don't know what freedom of speech is.

And I technically don't care if he hates it. It isn't affecting anyone.
