Name some people? There's tons of people you can all make friends with
I'm not talking about 'friends', once you filter though the morons it's easy to find people you can enjoy being with;
I'm talking about the comunity feel Blockland used to have. Sure, it's not vanished, but it's not nearly as strong as it used to be.
most of you blow them off because they don't sit around posting crap on the forums or because you've never heard of them before.
Back then, I hardly ever went on the forums at all, this is in-game we're discussing.

Yeah i agree with some people about the Dm thing. I do enjoy playing a TDM once in a while but they get very repetitive.

v1-v8 was a good time for the Blockland community, it was really nice, there weren't that many problems with it at all.  There were only like 24 servers and most of them were fun, majority of people were respectable and talented members.
Community and servers were better then.  now its all Rp's and poor TDM's.

But as far as Blockland Progress goes, what we have now is amazing.

I for one prefer what we had to what we've got now.
I also agree strongly with jirue.

V9 was the best. All we have new since then is physics that came with these huge, random lines of textures and colors.

You're really dumb. I doubt you've even played then.

The best update was, by a landslide, the one which removed port forwarding as a necessity to host. Although I still can't host.

Only thing I truly miss is how close-knit the community used to be. Having Badspot in your server was normal, he wasn't considered an endangered animal. You knew pretty much everybody, and most got along fairly well.

:c I was Back in V 11

We could always form some sort of social group.

i joined in v8 and i hated how you had to like, reconfigure your computer to be able to download add-ons

then they changed it in v9 and i was all like ALL RIGHT ADD-ONS

then trader was all like HEY BOYS ELEVATORS

then everybody was all like YYYYYYYYYEEEEAAAAGGHHHHHHHHHH

then trader didn't do anything and everyone got pissed

it sucked.

I'd actually rather have port forwarding back. it would reduce most bad servers and quite frankly, since everyone hosts without port forwarding, I cant join half the servers now. I can never join a server with a "---" ping, even though all security settings that could cause that are turned off.

v1 - v8 was best in my opinion. Because the community was smaller and you would be closer to friends. I haven't seen Sticky in forever but he was awesome.

Having Badspot in your server was always a big deal.

The community is no more close knit as it was in the past. We've always been a cesspool of misfits.

The only thing that's changed is the version number.
