Lol, I'll be tank guys.

I guess I'll buy it if it has no monthly fee like the original-

*looks at FAQ*

No monthly fee!? Totally getting this stuff.

Lol, I'll be tank guys.
someone hasn't been doing their homework
this game has no "tank, healer, dps" designation
all classes can fulfill three roles, sometimes all in one fight
control
damage
and support
some are better at doing some roles than others, but for example, they've done a dungeon with 5 elementalists and another time with 5 warriors

I also find it really weird.. :(
The turrets just don't seem to fit in the game, it seems like a bit of a gimmick class to expand their market. But I'll see when I play I suppose.

I really like the engineer actually
I love almost anything steampunk, it's just such a cool style
also Lion's Arch is quite pretty

Been a while since I updated this thread since there hasn't been too much news as of late, but here's some links to some nice stuff, mostly engineer-related, looks like a fun class and definitely going to be one of my choices come launch day. Also they didn't go to E3 because it's mostly a press show and they just want to give the fans a hands-on experience at expos, ie gamescom.

We didn’t feel like we could ship the game without the engineer for so many reasons. His playstyle, his tie to the lore, guns, technology and charr and generally everything about the world advancing. While all the other professions are important, there were two professions we didn’t feel we could ship the game without: the guardian and engineer. The guardian is the tie back to where we were, and the engineer is forward-looking. The other professions are our ‘constant’. These two classes really tell the story of our 250 year transition.
engineer is not a gimmick, but a key profession to the absolutely fantastic lore of the series

ENGINEER IS SPY THIEF.

Guild Wars 2 fans in Cologne, Germany will get their first look at the starting area for the feline Charr, a high-level demo featuring the first playable appearance of the innocent, plantlike Sylvari and the arrogant, know-it-all Asura, and hands-on time with the game's character customization options.

All that, plus the aforementioned exclusive PvP demo, with periodic exhibition matches between the ArenaNet team and European guild BOON Control taking place on the developer's central stage.

forget.

Stupid sea why do you have to be in the way of germany.

But totalbiscuit will be at gamescom recording everything! yaay~
