Apocalyptic Planning (Sayounara, Wizard-san)

I am going to ask you to stick with me here. Ignore all possibilities that the end of the world won't happen next year. What would you do if some disaster left Earth in ruins and killed off 3/4 of the population?

I would go buy a forget ton of gas masks + filters from my local Army/Navy overstock store. Once the dust settles, I would scavenge through the rubble for usable items at local stores. I would then meet up with some bros, steal guns/ammo, and become essentially the most annoying people on earth, threatening to kill people if they don't give us food/water/bullets/weapons. If they refuse, we kill them and steal the stuff anyways.

What would you do?

I'm pretty sure someone without experience of surviving would only have luck to depend on.

And I'm pretty sure you'd be looking for essential ingredients for survival rather then make a hobby raiding people that you will most likely not find for miles.

Yeaaah, when the dust clears the radiation is gone. Riiight. No, You'd melt.
Heres what I would do, get in some anti-nuclear bunker (They have those already) wait out the fighting, when they say the radiations gone I will go home and have a look around.

If i happen to survive first ill want to secure my family and try to maintain a working system so we can eat, id be sure to tuck in my shirt so i have quicker access to my leatherman/knife which i do carry with me.
If the need rises i can get one of my dads rifles, if at all possible it would be best to load the car and drive down to our country home where we should be able to sustain life for atleast 4 weeks, which will give us plenty of time to plan our next move, i also wanna help anyone i can, wouldn't wanna leave someone who's hurt behind, just go back and see what i can do.
