This isn't a topic about the playstation vita. create one if you want to have one.

Why? If you bought it before (like, now) you'd still get them :v

I may get the free games, but I would miss out on saving roughly $80.
Though actually, I recently read someones plan to take advantage of Best Buy's "Price Match" system.

Quote
Step 1: Purchase at Best Buy on August 10th for $250, connect to eShop.
Step 2: Price Match to $170 on August 12th.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit with a $170 3DS and 20 free games!

"This will gift you 10 free NES games and 10 free Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games from the Virtual Console."

You know, they know of the price drop too. You're sure you can price match like that?

From what I've gathered, it's completely possible. Employee's have done this with 360s and PS3s.
The worst that happens is I pay $250 for a console and get 20 free games. The best being I get the worst plus $80.

Eitherway, it works for me.

I'd like some confirmation, sir.

Okay gonna get one after the price cut, who cares if I'll barely play it $170 is only a little over a day of work for me. Also I will probably trade in my old DS and all my DS games which should get me at least $40 and I already have $25 on my card so won't cost too much.

I still have no flipping idea what the 3D looks like on this game.

too bad the games arent that good

or maybe im not looking in the right spot

I'd like some confirmation, sir.

I have none!
It's a gamble, and I'm going for it. The most I have to look at is their "Price Match Guarantee".

Nintendo hasn't confirmed 15 of the games yet.
The five they confirmed are for NES games. Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong Jr., Ice Climbers, and Balloon Fight(?).

170? Consider it bought.

I have none!

I'm not sure if you'd call this a confirmation or not, but:

I called my local Best Buy (US) and asked if I could buy a Nintendo 3DS now for $249.99, bring the receipt once the price drop is in effect, and receive the $80. The lady said that as long as I return within 30 days they will credit the difference.

The only downsides to this are paying taxes (as opposed to not paying any when ordering from Amazon.com) and taking 2 trips to Best Buy. Oh, and having to have the extra $80 on hand the day of purchase.

Remember that you must log in to the eShop BEFORE AUGUST 12. I'm getting mine later today :)
