what 2%? I see no proof of a 2%
i see no proof of ANYONE hitting a 250gb limit, for that matter

lol thats not proof. if it was that high all 3 months, then maybe.
but clearly you never pass half the limit on average. doing a ton of downloading this month means nothing.

i could get into a downloading spree and torrent day and night for a week and reach 250g. people dont do that every day. and if they do, thats when they need to upgrade.

sweet, still didnt hit the 250gb limit.

My parents ditched DirecTV for Netflix mid-February, so it's going to be like this on average every month from now on.

It's 40 GB's away.

If you play GMod like my friend and I do you can rack up 40 GB in a afternoon.

you really think you can rack up 40gb from playing gmod for a few hours? oh jesus, this is getting even funnier

streaming is not the same as downloading a real movie file. a hell of a ton less data. netflix isnt even that bad of a bandwidth use.

Because a full on folder of 200 mods can't be bigger than one gig.

Nope nope.

Reason they put caps is so that people arnt ripping the company off. Whats the point of going to business class which has unlimited data and good speeds when u can pay a less amount and still have unlimited data (Possibly a slight speed drop but then again I have yet to see anyone that matches the "Up to 50Mb of download speed!" statements)

I use Comcast Blast! which is really amazing with speeds, I love it. Ever since my new PC however, I have been pushing my luck XD

You are a flaming idiot you know that?

If you join a bunch of servers with a stuffload of mods, yes. That can be easily avoided, and is avoided by pretty much everyone because nobody wants to wait forever to download so many mods just to join one server.

The only thing I ever downloaded last month was two steam games totaling about 25GB. The rest was just Netflix and regular internet use.

I'm not bitching about the cap, I'm just saying it can be easily hit.

um.... thats not how mods work lol.
you are not re-downloading or uploading them every time you log on lol.
and by your description, hourly.

What are you talking about?

I have a downloaded folder that I have to move files in/out to add/remove.

It's been like this since I installed it.
