Allow me to reiterate, I'd like to be a part of this server.

I believe minecraft is much more fun with multiple people playing, and I'd love the change to experience a more organized multiplayer server in which currency and realism plays a larger role. I design pretty decent houses, and I'm friendly and fair with neighbors.

I already have a stabilised idea when i get to join the server.
First:gather obsidian(not sure how)
then:make a hellgate
after that:colonise hell in search for glowstone
now comes:???
PROFIT!!

You cant go to the nether in SMP, But you can earn some money and buy glowstone from an admin.

You should give out jobs, like mining and gathering, farming, things like that.

and Will you be selling pig saddles, cocoa beans, animals, or mob spawners?

I'd like to join because I love the idea of the currency and the jailing system seems like a great way to keep trouble makers away. I'd also like to build a store based around minerals so I could sell/buy minerals to people.

I don't know whether to just randomly pick or have each one write why they want to be in beta and the best 5-6 will get in.

Sounds silly but seems plausible.
