That sounds like a lot of fun

That sounds like a lot of fun

Also, I'm pretty sure the Papacy controlled like 25% of Europe's money, so they were rich as forget.

Most American Kids are, in my opinion, friends who can't think for themselves and just wear certain clothes or listen to certain music because "it's cool". I hate today's society, 1940s all the way.
You're just a friend who makes dumb stereotypes

This is assuming that a marriage between figure heads is more significant than an international terrorist organization disrupting both domestic and foreign government structure in a country.

Also, about kids getting more ignorant, most of them easily get their parents view bashed into there head, or they just don't give a forget about higher education.
I'm not saying it's more important, you stated you don't care for something that happens within another country.
And no, it's not like my mom told me a monarchy is the only right thing, like I said, I grew up with this kind of thing. Face it, I'm old-fashioned and nothing like today's youth.

Life wasn't as great back then as you obviously think it was. You watch too much tv.
Actually I don't watch much TV at all. I know what went on in those times.

That's a pretty good summary of the general high school populous

I do care about other things, such as the market, REAL political organization, military movements, etc., just not some minor tradition that is held on to so as to keep stability.

Face it, I'm old-fashioned and nothing like today's youth.

I'm neither old fashioned nor like today's youth.

I'm the most individualistic forgeter I know.

The tradition has been kept to keep people in place and has worked well. You are pretty much sticking it to the man by not caring

I smell British people in this topic.

wait wait wait. you guys get a day off school because they're getting married? wtf? D: i jelly.

Thats so stupid D:

I am a non-conformist friend, this is somewhat true.

Anyways, I understand why the nobility is there, I understand why it is somewhat important to domestic stability, I just really don't care to watch the possible shift in power to another figure head.

Tom

What else would the news be showing at four in the morning?

Once again, no one told you to care.

What else would the news be showing at four in the morning?

This is probably the best statement I heard so far for reason to broadcast it over other international issues.

Tom

Other issues would still get coverage, and it's not like you miss very much unless something new develops, and that's unlikely because I wouldn't be surprised if most of thee world leaders will also be watching the royal wedding. The royal wedding is still news, and even though it may seem less important to you, there are people who do think it's a big deal.

And you're 15, I doubt you normally watch the news anyways unless your parents have it on and you happen to be in the same room.
