I don't get how no one can solo WoF. I solo'd him on my first try only using non hard-mode weapons and a water walking potion.

(Of course I had rocket boots and stuff like that)

The reason I died on my first try is because I didn't make my platform long enough and then tried to jump through the WoF. He proceeded to push my into a block of ash, then push me out of it into lava.
