3rd try got sandstorm in a bottle
I got that one in my first temple, first new world.

So basically you don't want to start over because you don't want to play without the best items in the game?

Ultra-lame
i don't remember a fun time from when i didn't have all my current stuff
i just remember mining endlessly to get decent enough equipment to fight the bosses

everything's so fast paced now
i had chlorophyte armor after about 2 hours of mining

i think i will eventually start a new character though, once there's nothing left to do but time myself to see how fast i can kill eye of cthulhu or something

wot
I made my world 3 days ago and have been playing nonstop

no offense but why are you so slow in the game lol??? ive had this inventory sharing 1 world with 3 people. beat all pre-hardmode bosses besides flesh solo lol

whenever i host a dedicated server for me and one of my friends it always lags. do any of you guys know how to fix this?

A terraria server can be somewhat cpu intensive when hosting with multiple people. If you have a really shoddy processor it will affect your server. It could also be your connection to your network, if you're using wifi or just have a junky router/modem/fancy box with lights, among other things. I'll sometimes get connection issues while hosting because of my wifi. so who knows, is the gist of it.

i believe it is time i present our glorious castle from 1.1.

(click for full pic)

this was made a few months ago, owned by me, cargon, thescout, and a few other cool dudes i regularly hang out with.

we've got the central station, where the golden chests and furnaces are -- the library, where i place just about my most favorite item, the book, for no reason -- the kitchen, which still has no background since it blew up one day -- the towers, with the convenient drops into pools of water that we never used and don't need anymore -- the money generation system, where our goldfish and piranhas are spawned (was their sell rate changed?) -- and lastly, the throne, sitting uselessly under a beautiful array of glass spirals.

the rooms to the east within the castle (with all the random colors and beds and junk) are our personal rooms, the npcs are to the west within the castle, the guide is, as usual, looking fine in his dirt house, and my alchemy lab is prospering. the statue room hasn't been tended to in a while, it's hard keeping track of the statue find logs.

oh, and i see the two doors that are usually at the base of the left and right of the castle to exit and enter are gone. again.

i built about 90% of it.

holy stuff i can't wait until i can play with everyone together again tomorrow

Spoiler: The crimson chest has a weapon called the Vampire Knife

Once you get one, you'll always stick with it, forever

Which boss drops that trophy there?

Which boss drops that trophy there?

each boss has a 10% chance to drop a boss trophy, both of those are the eye of c

i feel like im the only person who digs small holes in the ground and then refurbishes them for the npcs to live in

and then i have a huge loving mansion on top of a hill with golden walls

I finally got me a sniper rifle and got it to unreal. Should i use it against bosses  or shoot random stuff?

in one of my worlds i just have my crafting stations and chests sitting outside an npc apartment building

i don't need a house

Spoiler: The crimson chest has a weapon called the Vampire Knife
