Hey

I do Tanking for people and I use the Turtle armor as long as all special items buffed with Warding. I can try joining you and helping out.

buff them with menacing, it's not that i'm dying it's that i cant kill things fast enough before day time

Rephrasing my earlier post.

What is the best gear to use to get to wave 15 on the pumpkin moon? I have done about 5 pumpkin moons and I can't get past wave 8-9. I haven't died at all it's just that I can't kill the enemies fast enough.

I'm currently using chlorophyte melee armor, scourge of the corruptor, true Excalibur, and stake launcher.

try using this loadout.

Armor: Frost

accessories:

Lightning Grieves
Wings
Fire Gauntlet
Destroyer Emblem
Warrior Emblem

make sure all their forges are menacing.

weapons:
Legendary Death Sickle
Godly Vampire Knives

Potions:
soup
ale
battle potion (increased spawnrates)
ironskin potion (compensates for lost def.)
flask of ichor

strategy:

each wave works on a point system.

Quote
Scores required for each wave:
Wave 2: 25
Wave 3: 40
Wave 4: 50
Wave 5: 80
Wave 6: 100
Wave 7: 160
Wave 8: 180
Wave 9: 200
Wave 10: 250
Wave 11: 300
Wave 12: 375
Wave 13: 450
Wave 14: 525
Wave 15: 675

each mob gives these points respectively

Quote
Scarecrow: 1
Splinterling: 2
Hellhound: 4
Poltergeist: 8
Headless Horseman: 25
Mourning Wood: 75
Pumpking: 150

building a trap system that uses spiky balls usually works well. This will not function as your primary source of points, but more of a secondary clean up job. it will destroy the smaller, weaker mobs while you fight the bosses.

On the first few waves, use the death sickle. It deals a stuffton of damage and has a lingering projectile. After a while, the woods and pumpkings spawn, you need to quick swap to vampire knives. make sure you're accurate and speedy.

be sure to keep your buffs up and plentiful.

hope this helps.

Farthest I got was 11 waves.
I used the Paladin Hammer/Death Sickle with full menacing accessories and turtle armor. Part of my plan is to constantly run into the mourning woods and pumpkings and damage them with the turtle armor while getting drunk on health potions and occasionally switching to vamp knives.

Mage loadout got as far as wave 10 with the frost hydra, inferno fork, magnet sphere, and the piss spell thing.

Potions:
soup
ale
battle potion (increased spawnrates)
ironskin potion (compensates for lost def.)
flask of ichor
Instead of putting potions you should put consumables.
Also your information helps a lot. Thanks.

if only i had made it a bit to the right though, then it'd be considered hallowed and id get a forgetton of souls
