You people's NPCs are just wraith and reaper food lmao.
Only if you build the houses underground. High above they're safe.

I don't feel that you need to use that many resources just to house your NPCs

like holy forget is a hallway to the outside really necessary

There is more to the game than just fighting things and mining

This is also a building game, isn't it?
Why should people build statues? Why should people build castles?

Why don't they?!?

What does it mean when it said "The Air is getting cold around you"?

Skeletron is coming for you...

Skeletron is coming for you...
Skeletron or Skeletron Prime?

Skeletron or Skeletron Prime?
Prime.
This only happens in hardmode, once you beat him he won't spawn by himself.

All the hardmode bosses will spawn by themselves from time to time if you haven't beaten them, and won't stop until you do.
It's not a constant bombardment, it's just sort of random

Is there a difference between hardmode and hardcore?

Or is it like a slang or what?

Hardcore - Your character is deleted after you die
Hardmode - New monsters, Hallow appears, and everything spreads

Hardcode - Your character is deleted after you die
Hardmode - New monsters, Hallow appears, and everything spreads

Lol understandable typo. But yes, he is correct. Hardcore is a character creation option. Hardmode is essentially the second half of the game after you beat the wall of flesh.

Um

When Wraiths are not passing through blocks they are unable to hover above about 3 blocks in height. Keep your NPCs above that height to ensure that Wraiths don't kill them.

As long as your house is rooted to the ground, Wraiths and Reapers can get to them.
